Around the world, educational, economical, and social progress for girls continues to be a major crisis -- especially in developing countries. Some of the world's most promising leaders won't have the opportunity to seize their potential, simply because they aren't granted basic human rights such as access to education and agency over their bodies.
EDUCATION
Worldwide, nearly 1 in 4 girls aged 15–19 years is neither employed nor in education or training compared to 1 in 10 boys of the same age. By 2021 around 435 million women and girls will be living on less than $1.90 a day — including 47 million pushed into poverty as a result of COVID-19.
ABUSE
1 in 3 women worldwide have experienced physical or sexual violence. Emerging data shows that since the outbreak of COVID-19, violence against women and girls (VAWG), and particularly domestic violence, has INTENSIFIED.
EQUITY
At least 60% of countries still discriminate against daughters’ rights to inherit land and non-land assets in either law or practice.

We’re on a mission to create equal access, adequate resources, and social equality for the world’s future female leaders by supporting organizations at the frontline of advocacy for girls worldwide.
This year we’re raising $10,000 for our philanthropic partner, National Investments for Africa. NIA connects successful African expatriates to ambitious and nuanced NGOs uplifting rural communities across Africa. Through cooperative investment our tribe sponsors secondary school education, and youth entrepreneurship in Sustainability, Girls & Women, and Global Health.

HOW DO I KNOW WHERE MY DONATION IS GOING?
We’ll be sharing the total amount raised and proof of the donation amount monthly in an effort to remain transparent with everyone. This information will be shared on this website, as well as our social media platforms. Additionally, we will be sending out quarterly e-mail updates to inform everyone of how their donations have helped NIA Africa
CAN I GET A REFUND ON MY ORDER?

Yes, we are anti-sweatshop and value fair-trade products. We source all of our material from companies that hold the same values. Additionally, all of our shirts are produced by a local Black and Brown small business.
